Lincoln and Kennedy Coincidences
The Assassinations of Lincoln & Kennedy Both were concerned with civil rights, Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. Lincoln was elected President in 1860, Kennedy was elected President in 1960. Both were slain on a Friday and in the presence of their wives. Both were shot from behind the head. Both their successors were named Johnson and were southern democrats. Both were in the senate. Andrew Johnson was born in 1808, Lyndon Johnson was born in 1908. John Wilkes Booth, Lincoln's Assassin was born in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald, Kennedy's Assassin was born in 1939. Both presidents lost children whilst still in the White house. Lincoln's secretary, who's name was Kennedy, advised him not to go to the theatre. Kennedy's secretary, who's name was Lincoln, advised him not to go to Dallas. Booth shot Lincoln in a theatre and ran to a warehouse. Oswald shot Kennedy from a warehouse and ran to a theatre. Lincoln and Kennedy each contain 7 letters.
